HR & ADMIN

The Department has four (4) divisions; HR, Admin, Records and Secretarial.

HUMAN RESOURCES DIVISION

We provide quality human resource services for efficient and effective service delivery.

  • • Recruitment and Selection
  • • Training and development
  • • Employee performance management
  • • Compensation and Benefits

ADMINISTRATION DIVISION

We manage public affairs; government.

  • • To facilitate payment for utilities/bills, manage cost saving for the utilities.
  • • To prepare wages for council employees on monthly basis and paying of casual laborers.
  • • Cleaning of council offices toilets and grounds checklist.
  • • Preparation of refreshment for all council meeting management.

RECORDS MANAGEMENT UNIT

We coordinate all the records management practices and procedure ensuring the proper creation maintenance, use and disposition of records.

  • Processing of incoming mail
  • Facilitation of decongestion of records through records management appraisal
  • Facilitation of the development of the records management tools

SECRETARIAL SERVICE

We provide secretarial and office management services to the City of Francistown Council and Management

  • Management of office diary for supervisors.
  • General typing duties
  • Provision of quality check on typed documents and outgoing correspondences
  • Minutes taking/collation of information
  • Maintaining simple control records/floating file
