Electrical Division

We plan, design, install, operate and maintain all electrical and accessories within City of Francistown Council infrastructure

OUR AIM

  • The aim of electrical engineering division is to plan, design, install, operate and maintain all electrical and accessories within City of Francistown Council infrastructure.
  • The division also supervises the design and installation of the same by private developers and eventually takes over these facilities upon completion.

OUR OBJECTIVES

  • Periodic, preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance of street lights, traffic lights and other electrical installations on the streets, in Council premises, clinics, schools and community centres through the City.
  • Monitoring of traffic light signalised junctions to match the change in traffic density pattern and perform periodic synchronisation of the same as soon as the controller gets off adjustment.

>MAINTENANCE OF PRIMARY SCHOOLS, CLINICS AND COUNCIL FACILITIES.
>INSTALLATION OF NEW STREETS LIGHTS AND TRAFFIC LIGHTS.
>RECEIVE REPORTS FOR ELECTRICAL FAULTS, KNOCKED DOWN STREETS LIGHTS TRAFFIC LIGHTS.
