The Department of Corporate Services provides and coordinates a full range of administrative resources and support services to all departments of the City of Francistown Council, to enable the Council to effectively and efficiently deliver its mandate.
Coordinate & Manage human resources function of the Council, Staffing, training and development, staff welfare, recruitment, and talent management. Develop HRM Strategies and plans aligned organisation strategic goals. Develop HRM information systems. Manages employee relations.
Administration & Office Operations
Manage and oversee general administration services, Coordinate departmental transport, logistics support services as well as office operations. Office services and general administration as well as secretarial services and records management
Manage financial resources. Develop and manage budgets and plans. Manage Accounts and Internal audits. Oversee payment of accounts. Provide accounting services. Financial reporting, accounts, payroll, and financial services.
Procurement & Supplies
Supplies Services and asset management .Procurement and Asset disposal .contract Management and tendering processes. assets management and inventory control. Manage disposal of redundant assets.
Information & Communication Technology

Records Management
Creation and Classification of Records: Ensures all official records are properly created,
classified, and assigned reference numbers according to approved classification systems.
Registration and Filing: Registers incoming and outgoing correspondence and ensures
accurate filing and maintenance of records.
