Community Development Division

The Community Development Division works hand-in-hand with residents, local leaders, and community groups to create spaces where people can thrive. We believe in the power of communities to solve problems, support one another, and build a better future — and our role is to guide, equip, and connect people with the tools they need to make that happen.

To empower residents of Francistown to actively participate in shaping their communities, strengthen social networks, and access resources that improve quality of life for all.

What We Do

Community empowerment programmes – training, workshops, and capacity-building to strengthen local leadership and participation.

Innovative Approaches

Hosting market days and expos to help local entrepreneurs showcase products.

We work alongside Francistown residents to ensure every voice is heard, every need is recognized, and every community has the tools to thrive.
