a. Yard/compound that is more than 900 meter squared. b. If plot is a residential, it has to be changed from residential to civic & community plot through the Physical Planning department in the Council c. Upon approval of Change of Land use permit, book Health and Fire Inspections. d. Fill in either Form 1 or 2 depending on the service to be offered and submit all 4 documents in Civic Centre Office 842 or 833 e. Attach short outline of proposed programme (not more; than two pages) how it shall meet the developmental needs of children, learning principles and basic life skills f. Attach list of most basic indoor and outdoor materials and equipment to be used in the centre (show quantities) g. Attach list of furniture including number of tables and chairs and their size, cupboards and display facilities to be used in the centre. h. After all these have been submitted an inspection by the Home Economics Office will be done at the premises to verify what has been submitted and ascertain compliance with Early Childhood Care & Education Policy and Francistown Day Care Centre Bye-Laws. |
