ROADS DIVISION
ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING DIVISION
Periodic, preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance of street lights, traffic lights and other electrical installations on the streets, in Council premises, clinics, schools and community centres through the City.
- The division also supervises the design and installation of the same by private developers and eventually takes over these facilities upon completion.

We provide managerial, coordination, supervision of the Mechanical/Transport Department activities
We Provide logistical support and training to Mechanical/Transport personnel
OUR OBJECTIVES
• To provide technical advice to Council Committees in relation to Mechanical and Transport matters. • To carry out health and safety checks regularly for the Department's vehicles and plants in order to minimize accidents • To effectively allocate vehicles to all council department, supervise and monitor their performances
• To ensure that the fleet is kept clean and tidy at all times, and prepare maintenance and service schedule • To carry out spot checks in order to curb any misuse of council vehicles • Supervise and coordinate mechanical maintenance, repair works and fleet operation activities
