The Architecture & Buildings Service Department plays a critical role in the planning, design, development, maintenance, and management of the built environment within the City of Francistown Council . Its core function is to ensure the delivery of safe, sustainable, functional, and aesthetically appropriate buildings and infrastructure that meet both current and future needs.
Our Objectives
To be a competitive provider of physical infrastructure to the satisfaction of our community. The department has four (4) division namely; Architecture, Structural Engineering, Quantity Surveying and Parks & Recreation.

ARCHITECTURE
Planning, designing and facilitating the execution of new building Projects.

STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING
Designing and overseeing the construction of buildings and other structures, ensuring their safety and durability.

QUANTITY SURVEYING
Calculating quantities and costs for materials, labour and time-frames for projects.

PARKS AND RECREATION
A short description of the service and how the visitor will benefit from it.
